Shell’s loyalty program has been around since 2012, and we freshened up the brand in 2019. With a new typeface and a fresh set of icons, the newer brand has a stronger type hierarchy, more white space, and a visually clearer and simpler look to reflect how easy it is to save money on fuel.
I designed the 26-page brand guide that includes the brand voice, identity basics, UI elements, how to brand partner promotions, and more. Here’s a sample.
The Excentus brand isn’t around anymore, but we sure loved playing with it. I selected the typeface, named the colors, expanded the palette for data, defined graphic elements, and designed the 20-page guide. From rounded hexagons to moonstone overlays, it was a beautiful toolkit for marketing a technology company.
